NativeScript For The Angular Developer

TwitterFacebookRedditLinkedInHacker News

After months of receiving requests, I am finally pleased to announce that my course, NativeScript for the Angular Developer, is now available on Udemy. This Angular and NativeScript course is similar to the previous course I released titled, NativeScript 101, with the exception that this time we’re using Angular instead of vanilla JavaScript. If you’re unfamiliar with NativeScript, it is a cross platform framework for developing native mobile applications. There needs to be emphasis on the native part because you’re not building hybrid web applications, you’re building native mobile applications.

So what can you hope to accomplish in this particular course?

I have many tutorials scattered around the internet in both video and written format. Many of these tutorials are complex or focused on niche topics that wouldn’t necessarily help you in learning how to build mobile applications or learning a technology in general. You’d stumble upon them on an as necessary basis. The NativeScript for the Angular Developer course was designed to be different. It was structured in such a way that it would cover multiple concepts in mobile application development while still bringing you to a very reachable goal. In this case, the goal is a mobile application that uses the concepts you learned about in the course.

It is a start-to-finish beginner to intermediate level course in the sense that it will cover topics ranging from how to get set up with NativeScript and the Android SDK on your computer all the way to building, testing, and troubleshooting a fully functional application that includes Angular.

I encourage anyone starting out with either NativeScript or Angular to take a look at this course. Unlike many of my tutorials, I’ve actually included the full source code to the project developed in the course. This is good for comparing your work with the anticipated final result.

Feel free to ask me questions or provide me with feedback if you’ve already taken it. A five star review is also much appreciated!
